Privacy policy

This policy explains what SSC Rank displays, what the site stores in your browser, and how to request a correction or removal.

About this service

SSC Rank is an independent, unofficial project. It is not affiliated with, issued by, or endorsed by any education board, school, or government authority. Rankings are calculated from the result information available to the project.

Student information we display

Result pages may show a student's name, examination roll number, education board, group, institution, subject marks, GPA, total marks, board rank, and school rank. The site does not intentionally publish a student's home address, private phone number, password, or personal messages.

How information is used

Student information is used only to provide result lookup, leaderboard, school-ranking, and related comparison features. SSC Rank does not sell student information or use it to make admissions, employment, credit, or other official decisions.

Browser storage and visit counters

The static site may use local storage and session storage to remember recent selections and maintain browser-local visit and activity counters. These values stay in your browser and are not a reliable count of every visitor. SSC Rank may later use privacy-conscious aggregate analytics to understand traffic and reliability.

Minors and responsible use

SSC candidates may be minors. Visitors should use the information respectfully and should not use rankings to harass, shame, impersonate, or unfairly target a student. Rankings are unofficial and should always be checked against the relevant official result source.

External links

SSC Rank may link to social media profiles or other websites. Those services have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not control how they collect or use information.

Corrections and data removal

If you want to correct a result or remove your data from SSC Rank, contact the project team through the About us page. Include the student name, roll number, board, and enough information to verify and locate the record. Requests will be reviewed before a record is changed or removed.
